IGF-1 LR3 1mg
IGF-1 LR3 (Insulin-Like Growth Factor-1 Long Arg³) is a synthetic analogue of human IGF-1 engineered to enhance biological stability and extend activity in research models. Structural modifications—including an Arg³ substitution and a 13-amino-acid N-terminal extension—significantly reduce binding to IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs), resulting in prolonged half-life and increased receptor availability compared to native IGF-1.
In laboratory and preclinical research settings, IGF-1 LR3 has been extensively studied for its role in cellular growth signalling, protein synthesis pathways, and tissue regeneration mechanisms. Due to its potent interaction with the IGF-1 receptor (IGF-1R), it is commonly explored in studies related to muscle cell proliferation, metabolic regulation, and growth-factor signalling cascades.
